Xscape The Room - Media, PA is bringing the adventure to the SHHS Food Truck-a-Thon!  Come play The Lost Idol - a 10 minute escape adventure brought to you by Delaware County's premier producers of escape games.

In The Lost Idol - An ancient idol has been stolen from an archaeological dig.  You and your team of 2-4 archaeologists have 10 minutes to find clues and use them to solve riddles problems and puzzles that lead you to rescuing the The Lost Idol and return it to the museum.

The experience is free, lasts approximate 10 minutes and is family friendly.  Players 9 yrs and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Great fun for all ages.  All players have the opportunity to enter a friendly competition: The team with the best escape time of the day will win free tickets to Xscape The Room's next adventure due to open this September.

Teen Competition | $10 Entrance Fee per Team

Teens in 6th through 12th grade are invited to a friendly game of cornhole with their peers. Teams of 2 players each will go head-to-head in a heated battle to be the last team standing. The winning team will take home $50 for all your efforts!

A maximum of 16 teams may enter. Our Teen Tournament is single elimination. Winning teams must be available to continue play until the end of the tournament in order to win the prize money.

Adult Competition | $30 Entrance Fee per Team

Who doesn't love a competitive game of cornhole? Our Adult competition will be your chance to show your friends and neighbors just how good your aim is! Each team of 2 players will battle in this single elimination tournament, with a final prize of $100, and bragging rights until next year!

A maximum of 16 teams may enter. Single elimination. Winning teams must be available to continue play until the end of the tournament in order to win the prize money.

Inflatable Axe Throwing

Cost:     $5 per 6 throws

Axe throwing is the new craze, so why not try it out! This inflatable game will let us see how good our aim is, without the ability to actually hurt ourselves with a real axe! Family members of all ages can face off and see who has the best aim.

Lots of donations are needed to make sure our event is a success. Please be in touch with the contact person listed below to make arrangements to get your donation. We ask that all donations be given to us by Tuesday, September  3 so we have time to assemble our raffle baskets.

Here is what we need:

  1. WINE!  - Many bottles for the wine and beer garden – white and red – must be $12 -$15 dollars. If you have any bottles to spare or are willing to purchase a bottle or two, please drop them off to Carol Burge (23 Waterford Way, Wallingford) or email Carol at carolburge@verizon.net to make arrangement for your donation to be picked up.

  2. GIFT CARDS - We are in need of gift cards to ANYWHERE!  We are making baskets and would appreciate any and all gift cards to add in.  Suggestions are: Wawa, Starbucks, Rita’s, Dunkin Donuts, 320 Café, and restaurants in Media or Swarthmore. Any denomination will be great - $10, $25, $50.  If you are out shopping - grab a gift card; AND if you find a candle or gift you just didn’t like, donate that too because we will always find a basket to put it in. To give your donation, please contact Kelly Caulfield at 484-437-1899 or kcaulfield17@verizon.net to make arrangements to pick up your donation.

  3. LOTTERY TICKETS – A single lottery ticket can change your life, as a result, people want to win a basket full of lottery tickets.  Please consider buying a few lottery tickets (any kind) and donating them to the Panther Payday raffle basket.  Hoping to get at least 50 tickets.  Tickets can be dropped off to Maria Potter (10 Kershaw Road, Wallingford) or email at mariapotter@live.com.

  4. RAFFLE BASKETS - If you and friends would like to create your own basket and donate it to us, we would really appreciate it!!  Again, please contact Kelly Caulfield to let her know and to pick up if needed.

  5. SPIRITS – We are creating Baskets of Cheer and are accepting any kind of Alcohol donations. Check your liquor cabinets and if you have a full bottle you don’t drink, please consider donating. Again, contact Kelly Caulfield and she will be happy to pick up.

MANY HANDS will be needed to make sure our fundraiser is a success! We will need raffle ticket sellers, help with the Silent Auction, and volunteers for set-up and take-down of the event. And be sure to volunteer your SENIOR too! We are doing all this for them, and we can use their help with face painting, running games, selling tickets, or even wearing the Panther Costume.

THANK YOU to our many sponsors! We would never be able to put on this event without your generosity!
